At Life is good we are dedicated to a greener festival and each year strive to be greener than the last. We focus on teaching festival-goer’s about greening by educating through action.
Procurement: Ensuring that most of our festival supplies (cleaning materials, hospitality and vendor utensils) are compostable.
Waste Management:
Promoting proper recycling and trash removal onsite. Easily identifiable recycling receptacles will be evident throughout the festival site.
Transportation
: Encouraging all participants to travel to the festival via public transportation, via car-pooling, by bike or foot.
Refillable Water Program
: We are encouraging all concert attendees to choose refillable water over plastic water bottles to cut down on the plastic consumption and overall carbon footprint of the festival. For the second year in a row, we are offering refillable water options: either purchase a 2012 Life is good water bottle at the water station onsite or the merchandise booth and receive free refills of spring water the entire festival or bring your own from home and purchase the refills. The refillable water station is located onsite in vendor row.
