The Life is good Playmakers help kids overcome poverty, violence and illness by partnering with frontline professionals who dedicate their lives to caring for them.
Movie Night
Lights. Camera. Fundraise!
If what you really want to do is direct, put your talents to practice by organizing a movie night fundraiser. Host a small gathering of friends in your living room, or ask a community center if you can reserve their space for a larger group. You can gather to view a favorite film, mini-series, or live broadcast of an awards show. Ask guests to donate money they would have spent on movie tickets and snacks, and tell them more about the great cause they’re supporting.
It might take more than the smell of popcorn to fill your seats. Your Playmakers fundraising page will help you promote your event, send messages and collect donations. We’ll even keep you posted on your progress.
Game Night
Gather round the coffee table and get your game face on.
A little friendly competition can up the ante for any at-home fundraiser. Whether it’s a round of Charades, a Name-That-Tune tournament, or just a quiz show viewing party, engage in a little contest to help the Life is good Playmakers spread the power of play. Your Playmakers fundraising page will help you promote your event, send messages and collect donations. We’ll even keep you posted on your progress.
