Virginia native, Jason Mraz, introduced himself to the world in 2002 with the ridiculously catchy single, "The Remedy (I Won't Worry)" and has seemingly never taken a look back. The pop smash, co-written with hit makers, The Matrix, introduced his quirky combination of folk, country and roots leanings alongside a voice that had spent a semester studying at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in N.Y. His sophomore album, "Mr. A-Z," peaked at number 5 on the Billboard charts and readied fans for the breakout success of 2008's "We Sing, We Dance, We Steal" and the single, "I'm Yours" which spent 78 weeks in Billboard's "Hot 100" list and went to number one in both New Zealand and Norway. Mraz is as active politically as he is musically, making time to support a wide range of causes including VH1's Save The Music Foundation, Musicares, The Surfrider Foundation, and the True Colors Fund.
