Are tickets required?
Yes. Tickets are $20 for adults, $10 for kids 12 and under. Your general admission ticket allows you to visit all corners of the ballpark, get your picture in the dugout, cheer on 100 athletes competing for the prize of World's Greatest Backyard Athlete, listen to three great live bands, and take part in a wide variety of games and activities in areas throughout the park. Our fundraising goal is $1 million raised on behalf of the Red Sox Foundation and Project Joy, a grassroots nonprofit utilizing the healing power of play to foster the social and emotional development of Boston's poorest children. Your attendance on this special day will help us to reach the goal and spread smiles to kids in need.
When and where can I get tickets?
The 20,000 available tickets for Life is good at Fenway are expected to be sold prior to the event, so please purchase your tickets early! Click here to purchase your tickets online or purchase tickets at any of our Life is good retail stores or New England area Genuine Neighborhood Shoppe's, participating Dick's Sporting Goods, REI, and Bob's Stores.
Can I get on the field?
General attendees are not allowed on the field, as the event takes place in the midst of the Red Sox season. However, expect a fun, active day for all ages. Dozens of activities, games, competitions, and celebrity guests are scheduled all day long in all areas of the stands and concourses. Fans can also head down to the dugout to be photographed, and they can cheer on a group of 100 athletes competing on the field and in the stands for the coveted title of World's Greatest Backyard Athlete. Is there a special tee shirt?
Yes. Life is good has designed a special Life is good Fenway tee and cap! All profits from the sale of these special items will be donated to the Red Sox Foundation and Project Joy.You can purchase both throughout New England, at any of our Life is good retail stores or New England area Genuine Neighborhood Shoppe's, participating Dick's Sporting Goods and Bob's Stores.
Can I volunteer?
Thanks for considering giving of your time! We are fortunate to have an able team of volunteers for our July 7th event at Fenway Park. But remember, there are many ways to help the cause! You are supporting kids in need when you buy a ticket for the event, purchase a festival tee shirt or cap, signup for the World's Greatest Backyard Athlete competition, or support an existing athlete.
How do I get there?
Fenway Park is located in the heart of the Boston, a short distance from Kenmore Square. Life is good strongly encourages public transportation. The Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority (MBTA) provides numerous convenient ways for all attending Life is good at Fenway to get to the park using public transportation.
