Courage is the ability to act in the presence of fear and discomfort in order to do something good or worthwhile. The word “courage” comes from the Latin root for “heart.” It’s about speaking and acting from your heart – even when it’s hard. It’s about facing your doubts and trying again after you fail. Fear is natural for all of us, and the courage to work through it makes us stronger.
