Playing Catch-Up with the Life is Good Playmakers
We say it all the time with The Life is Good Playmakers:
The quality of a person’s life is in direct proportion to the quality of their relationships.
Connection matters. A lot.
That’s why in 2017 we’re committed to staying connected with you.
Take a look at what’s happening with The LIGP this month and learn how to keep us informed on what’s happening in your one, precious life. We’re better together.

Our Work to Raise Support
Last month more than 2,325 generous individuals supported The LIGP through year-end giving or by adding an additional donation to their order while shopping Life is Good online. We also received support through these unique partnerships:
This month, special-edition Life is Good bouquets are available through our partnership with Designer’s Choice in select grocers. Look for them in New England at Shaw’s Supermarkets and in Albertson’s all across the Pacific Northwest. $1 of every bouquet goes directly to The LIGP.
For the second year in a row MetroWest Subaru of Natick selected The LIGP as their hometown charity for their annual Share the Love event. From Nov. 17 – Jan. 3, $250 of every Subaru bought or leased at MetroWest supported our mission to help kids heal. Last year the event raised more than $60,000 and with totals still being tallied, it looks like we’ll be reporting a repeat success!
On Jan. 11, Life is Good Co-Founder & Chief Executive Optimist, Bert Jacobs gave the keynote address at the Annual Citrix Conference. As part of the keynote, Bert offered everyone in the audience a chance to secure a limited-edition LIG Tee with a gift of support to The LIGP. In total the event raised more than $76,000 in just a few days.
Life is Good employee, John Banse has once again generously donated his Boston Marathon Bib to The LIGP to raise funds for our critical mission. More soon on who’s running and how you can help.
Late last month, The LIGP were awarded a $25,000 grant from an anonymous donor to supplement our 2017 public workshops, quarterly community gatherings, and work with Massachusetts based childcare organizations.
Early in the new year, Steve Gross along with members of our Programming Team held the first ever Facebook Live, Playmaker Town Hall. Thousands of childcare professionals tuned in for a 30-minute live catch-up on what’s ahead for The LIGP movement.
On Jan. 10 The LIGP Chief Playmaker, Steve Gross spread the power of optimism to the leadership team at Dawn Foods in Orlando, Florida. The keynote raised $17,000 for The LIGP.
