How Does Life is Good Protect Customer Information?

We have appropriate physical, electronic, procedural security safeguards, and  technical and organizational measures to secure the Personal Information we collect. However, no data protection procedures are entirely infallible. As a result, while we strive to protect your personally identifiable information, we cannot guarantee that it will be 100% secure. Your transmission of your data to our Website thus is done entirely at your own risk.

Our Website uses Secure Sockets Layering (SSL) to encrypt your personal credit information, including your credit card number, before it travels over the Internet. SSL technology is the industry standard for secure online transactions.

We require all credit card processors to be PCI compliant and will only receive the last four of your credit card number.

We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration, but we may share or transfer personal information to a third party that provides us with services such as data analytics. These services and business or commercial purposes may qualify as “other valuable consideration” for purposes of the definition of sale under the CCPA and CPRA. As the term is defined by the CCPA, we “sold” the following categories of personal information in the last 12 months: identifiers/contact information, Internet or other electronic network activity information, and inferences drawn from these categories. The business or commercial purposes of “selling” personal information is for third-party companies to perform services on our behalf, such as marketing, advertising, and audience measurement.

We do not “sell” personal information of known minors under 16 years of age.

Your Rights and Updating Your Personal Information and Privacy Preferences

Life is Good provides the following information as is relevant to residents of certain regions that have their own laws and regulations regarding data privacy, including the rights that may be available to residents of these regions upon the effective dates of the state laws and regulations. Please note that some of the rights may vary depending on your country, province, or state of residence. i. RIGHT TO ACCESS You have the right to access PI which we may collect or retain about you. If requested, we shall provide you with a copy of your PI which we collect as permitted by law. You also have the right to receive your PI in a structured and commonly used format so that it can be transferred to another entity (“data portability”).

ii. RIGHT TO KNOW You have the right to request that we disclose the following about your PI, as defined by law:

  3. The categories of sources from which we may collect your PI

iii. RIGHT TO OPT-OUT / DO NOT SELL/DO NOT SHARE MY PERSONAL INFORMATION

Our use of targeted advertising and tracking technologies may be considered a “sale”/ “sharing” under certain privacy laws. For example, the California law, the CCPA, under the definition of “sell” and “share”, we “sell” or “share” the following categories of personal information in order to deliver a more personalized experience and to show you products that we think you’ll be interested in: Identifiers; commercial information; Internet or other electronic network activity; geolocation data. Per the CCPA’s definition of  “sell” and “share”, we “sell” or “share” personal information to the following categories of vendors: advertisers and marketing partners, data analytics providers, and social media networks.  We do not knowingly “sell” or “share” the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.

Residents of states that allow for the right to opt out of sales or sharing can opt out by clicking the “Do Not Sell or Share” link at the bottom of our website and completing the Data Subject Rights Form.

You do not need to create an account with us to exercise your opt-out rights. We will only use personal information provided in an opt-out request to review and comply with the request.

iv. RIGHT TO REQUEST THAT WE DO NOT COLLECT, SHARE, OR DISCLOSE MY SENSITIVE PERSONAL INFORMATION You have the right to limit how your SPI is disclosed or shared with third parties, as defined in the CCPA/CPRA. Please note that Life Is Good does not sell your sensitive personal information and only shares it for excepted purposes.

v. RIGHT TO DELETION In certain circumstances, you have the right to request the erasure of your PI. Upon verifying the validity of a deletion request, we will delete your PI from our records, and instruct any service providers or third parties to delete your information, when applicable. 

vi. RIGHT TO CORRECT/RIGHT TO RECTIFICATION In certain circumstances, you have the right to request correction of any inaccurate PI. Upon verifying the validity of a verifiable consumer correction request, we will use commercially reasonable efforts to correct your PI as directed, taking into account the nature of the PI and the purposes of maintaining your PI.

vii. ACCESS AND OPT OUT OF AUTOMATED DECISION MAKING INCLUDING PROFILING

Please note that the above rights are not absolute, and we may be entitled to refuse requests, wholly or partly, where exceptions under applicable law apply.

EXERCISING YOUR RIGHTS If you are a resident of a region that provides data privacy rights, you can exercise any of your rights as described in this Policy/Notice and under applicable privacy laws by using the contact information provided in this Notice. We will not discriminate against you for exercising such rights.

You have the right to opt-out of receiving communications from Life is Good at any time by unsubscribing to emails within the email itself or you can contact customer care and request to be removed from email communication.

Are Children Allowed to Use Lifeisgood.com?

Life is Good does not sell products for purchase by children. We sell children's products for purchase by adults. Our website is not intended for or directed to children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under the age of 18 without parental consent.If you are under 18, you may use Lifeisgood.com only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect or use personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we will take steps to delete the information.

In cases where you have authorized a minor to use the Website, you recognize that you are fully responsible for: (i) the online conduct of such minor; (ii) controlling the minor's access to and use of the Website; and (iii) the consequences of any misuse by the minor.
