Life isn’t Easy. Life isn’t Perfect. Life is Good.

Life isn’t Easy.
Life isn’t Perfect.
Life is Good.

Optimism is a practice. It empowers us to navigate the hard stuff while choosing to focus more energy on the good stuff. Scientific research has shown it enhances well-being and bolsters our resilience. It also makes life a hell of a lot more fun.

Through the positive products we create, the vital work of the Playmaker Project, and the inspiring stories from our community, we are spreading the power of optimism far and wide.

Optimists Attract

We’ve always connected with those who celebrate what they love—from common hobbies to wonderfully weird ones.

Whether it’s seeing our tees tagging along on your everyday adventures or reading moving letters about Life is Good’s deeper meaning in your lives, your sharing stokes the same positive connections we strive to make every day.

Our story is your story, and the best chapter is always the next one.

Together We’re Helping Kids Heal

1 in 3 kids in the U.S. experience life-threatening early childhood trauma like homelessness, abuse, and community violence.

Research shows that a positive relationship with just one caring adult in early childhood can change the course of a child’s life entirely. The Life is Good Playmaker Project teaches early childhood professionals how to build those healing, life-changing relationships with kids in need.

Life is Good gives 10% of annual net profits to The Playmaker Project. Together with your support, we are helping over 1 million kids every year to heal, grow, and thrive.

One Van. Two Brothers. Three Simple Words.

For 5 years, brothers Bert and John Jacobs sold their homemade t-shirt designs in college dorms up and down the East Coast. They lived on PB&J, slept in their van, and showered when they could.

Then, in 1994, their optimism paid off. With just $78 to their names, Bert and John designed their first Life is Good t-shirt—and discovered how three simple words could become a rallying cry for optimists everywhere.
