Bert and John

Our mother Joan was the first powerful optimist in our lives. Her life was not easy, but she managed to bring laughter, love and a bit of mischief to her six kids, even during the most turbulent times. She fed our imaginations daily with her sketches, songs and animated stories, often assisted nimbly by the good Dr. Seuss.
